The problem is intermittent and unpredictable. The 4K input can go black or fail to display correctly, even though the source signal continues to work elsewhere in the HDMI chain. The signal path is being used for AI-assisted software testing and development in my home VR studio. I am recording and switching between multiple device outputs while testing software iterations. The YoloBox is intended to be the central recording/switching device in this workflow. The key issue: The source signal remains active, but the YoloBox input can randomly lose or fail to display the signal. In many cases, I can restore the signal by physically unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable at the YoloBox input. That makes this feel like an HDMI handshake, EDID, sync, or input-detection problem rather than a simple source failure. I have already tried multiple HDMI splitters/switches and different cables. The behavior is still unpredictable with this particular signal path. I have tested three different splitters so far. Please review the videos and advise on the next diagnostic steps. Specifically, I would like to know: 1. Whether this looks like an HDMI handshake / EDID / sync issue. 2. Whether there is a firmware or HDMI-interface update I should apply. 3. Whether there is a recommended 4K input format, color format, refresh rate, or EDID setting for maximum reliability. 4. Whether I should run the HDMI loop test. 5. Whether I should upload logs now so your engineers can inspect the HDMI driver error codes.
