The playlist editor allows users to work directly with the raw UTF-8 playlist source text. People should be able to paste URLs, save the playlist, and immediately see useful results.
The editor is part of the system’s promise of transparency and direct user control.
The editor must remain a place where users can see and control the underlying playlist/text input directly. Future scripting, metadata, or localization features must not reduce this transparency.
