The command system is moving toward a more explicit options-object style for advanced image-replacement behavior.

The required first argument remains the image URL.
The long-term second argument should be a named options object rather than a growing list of magic strings.
Short legacy forms may remain temporarily for backward compatibility, but new documentation should describe named options as the durable direction.
