Print Output

The system supports print-oriented exports such as cards or handouts with QR codes that link back to media resources.

Print output is part of the project’s practical value: online and physical formats should work together.

2026-03-17 Additive Expansion: This print/output appendix captures newly ratified export behavior from the conversation.

A. Master-Fidelity Output Rule

The system must preserve output quality at the selected target resolution. No export fix may sacrifice fidelity merely to simplify implementation. Screen capture, CSS-pixel export, flatten-then-upscale, or silent aggressive recompression violate the project's canonical output rule.

B. Format Rules

PNG is the default master-quality output path.
JPEG remains available only as an explicit mode, not as a silent fallback.
If a compressed/social/share mode exists, it must be clearly labeled as such.
Master output must not silently degrade quality in a loop to hit an arbitrary file-size cap.

C. Export Parity Rule

Exported output must include the same QR visibility state seen live.
Exported layer order must match live layer order.
Text-only URL-art tiles must export at elite quality, not as low-resolution placeholders.
Selected export resolution must control actual render dimensions.

D. Failure Indicators

Missing QR, blurry generated text at 4K/8K, visible layout drift between live and export, or output generated from screen raster instead of canonical composition all count as output regressions.
