This page exists so the docs can distinguish between canonical intended behavior and work that remains open in the current build.

Open items as of 2026-03-17

• Remove the legacy manual export reconstruction path and replace it with a unified live/export renderer.
• Guarantee QR inclusion in exported thumbnails whenever QR is visible live.
• Guarantee native-resolution export rendering without layout drift across 4K and 8K targets.
• Guarantee text-only URL-art plus QR tiles export as premium sharp masters.
• Eliminate startup QR positioning regressions and any export timing race that can drop QR.
• Repair any remaining Fit Height / Fit Everything / grid slider regressions referenced in the current work thread.
• Provide a master-quality export mode that does not silently degrade JPEG quality to chase a small file size.

Status interpretation rule

If an item is listed here, the docs recognize it as part of the intended system but do not claim that the current build already implements it correctly. This prevents future contributors from confusing a requirement with a completed feature.
