Delta packaging rules:
- ZIP lives inside the date directory and extracts from there.
- ZIP contains no root date folder.
- Root of ZIP contains the beta build, handoff.txt, and progress log.
- canonical-docs-YYYY-MM-DD-vNN/ contains only changed documentation files.
- Progress logs do NOT go inside the canonical docs folder.

Carry-forward rules added/clarified in v10:
- Build from the latest version every time to avoid reintroducing previously fixed bugs.
- Every canonical document should use the standard navigation header/footer and show freshness timestamps at both top and bottom.
- QR payloads must encode the full valid URL including anchor-comment fragments.
- QR is a dedicated layer above thumbnail imagery and below the type pill and smaller URL text.
- Exported thumbnails are always WYSIWYG to the selected output resolution and include QR whenever QR is visible in the UI.
- URL art is a textural thumbnail and should scale to fill the readable panel area when possible while remaining significantly larger than the smaller footer URL.
- Uploaded thumbnails should scale to fit the panel logically instead of cropping unpredictably.

Known live-test targets after v10:
- Confirm startup QR position is correct on every startup path.
- Confirm Show Header Text repopulates and reveals the standardized header text.
- Confirm uploaded thumbnails fit logically inside panels.
- Confirm URL art scales up to the readable area without becoming smaller than the footer URL text.
- Confirm Fit Width / Digital and Fit Everything still behave logically after the latest changes.
