Multilingual Documentation Portal
English · English
This page is a live placeholder inside a growing global documentation system.
MyAnythingList and MyAnythingGrid are being documented in a way that is clear, inspiring, and translation-ready.
This page exists now so the documentation structure works immediately instead of leading to a dead end.
Full documents for vision, system design, playlists, thumbnails, printing, streams, and editing will be added soon.
What already exists?
- A working multilingual folder structure.
- Live pages instead of broken links.
- A stable English reference source.
What comes next?
- Full documentation in this language.
- Practical guides for creators and developers.
- Clear public-facing explanations for global use.
Long-term vision
The long-term goal is a beautiful public knowledge system that helps people learn, build, print, share, and think more clearly.
The small English line below remains only as a graceful exit toward default documents.

English Requirements
Thumbnail Source Priority
The thumbnail system resolves each tile from the best available source while preserving author intent and tile clarity.
explicit image command
→ uploaded tile thumbnail
→ platform thumbnail lookup
→ URL art typographic tile
→ generic fallback
- URL art is the preferred fallback for many generic site URLs because it preserves the exact address identity instead of substituting a meaningless icon.
- QR graphics are overlays and must never replace the underlying thumbnail choice.
URL Art Layout Rules
URL art is a thumbnail mode that turns the URL itself into the visual subject of the tile.
- The full URL should be visible whenever the URL length is ordinary or moderately long.
- Font scaling should shrink to fit before the system resorts to clipping.
- Extremely short URLs may use more generous display scaling for aesthetic reasons.
- Extremely long URLs may clip only after best-fit scaling has been attempted and readability would otherwise collapse.
- The text block should be composed with awareness of QR placement so the typographic field and QR code feel intentionally arranged.
Footer URL and URL Art Interaction
When the small footer URL is visible, the large URL-art field must not be treated as expendable background text.
- Do not push URL art beneath the small footer URL when that footer is showing.
- Keep the main URL art visible inside the tile composition.
- If the small footer URL is hidden, the URL art may extend lower because the composition has more usable vertical room.
WYSIWYG Export Goal
Thumbnail downloads should preserve the same composition logic seen in the live tile.
This includes QR-side reservation, text alignment, footer interaction, and full-URL best-fit scaling where practical.
A download that shows materially less of the URL than the live tile is a regression unless the exported dimensions force an extreme compromise.
Startup QR Stability
QR overlays belong to the final visual design of the tile, so their startup position must be treated as part of the first-paint contract.
A visibly wrong QR position that corrects itself later should be documented and fixed as a rendering bug.
